The Stars finish the season in pink!

Come out Saturday March 8th to support the Montreal Stars as they play in pink to raise money for Breast Cance Research! Many DHD staff members will be on the ice so it will be a great opportunity to see your future instructors in action!!!

The Montréal Stars will conclude their 2013-14 season in pink with the fourth edition of the Let’s Beat Breast Cancer benefit game on March 8, and Fan Appreciation Day on March 9. The Stars will play their rivals and defending Clarkson Cup Champions, the Boston Blades.

With 17 wins, 1 loss and 2 overtime losses, the Montréal Stars have secured their place at the pinnacle of the CWHL standings, and the Presidents Trophy winners. They enter the Clarkson Cup Championships on March 18 to 22 in Markham, Ontario ranked as the first-placed team.

Let’s Beat Breast Cancer                                                                             

March 8 (5:30 PM), Étienne-Desmarteau Arena

The Stars invite hockey fans to attend this benefit game while celebrating International Women’s Day and the return of their Olympians. The team will donate70% of profits to the Wellness Initiative of the Cedar’s Breast Cancer Clinic of the MUHC. The Montreal clinic offers kinesiology, psycho-oncology, lymphedema therapy and exercise programs to women with breast cancer. A silent auction will feature unique items including Olympic memorabilia, event tickets, training programs and elite sport equipment. Several Sochi Olympic medallists will be in attendance, both on and off the ice! The team will auction their custom Bauer Pink game-worn jerseys. Over the past 3 years, the Montréal Stars have donated over $30,000 to the breast cancer cause thanks to the event. Doors open at 4:30pm. Seating is limited.
