About Doyle Hockey Development
Female hockey has developed at an extremely rapid pace over the last ten years. The staff at Doyle Hockey Development understand the need for quality instruction, feedback and guidance in the female game and have worked hard to develop specific programs and opportunities that will help female hockey players of all ages and skill levels improve and develop to their potential.
Our programs do not simply develop on ice skills but rather focuses on developing the complete player both on and off the ice. In today’s female game, players who progress to the elite level are those who are able to see the importance of training hard, eating well, creating goals and working hard to achieve their goals. Using specific progressions, the staff will ensure individualized feedback for all participants and allow for creativity on and off the ice. Following each camp, participants have a better understanding of what it takes to get to the next level and have learned how to improve their focus, commitment and consistency.
The idea of having role models and mentors is extremely important for young female players. The participants of DHD hockey camps are given a unique opportunity to learn from top female players who have excelled both in the classroom and on the ice. Ranging from Olympic athletes to top NCAA and CIS student-athletes, all of our staff provide tremendous experience to our program that we feel cannot be duplicated.
